Walkie-talkies

communication
Use
Carry voices and text chat beyond normal proximity range.
Common find
Check the yellow frame below Red Tower, the nearby red-tunnel ravine, and the central mountainside frame visible from Blue Tower.
Keep in mind
They preserve the game’s radio-like signal behavior instead of becoming an outside voice channel.
Use
Send a message from a transmitter to a player near the matching receiver.
Common find
Find paired stations near towers, the Map Room, trains, and other major landmarks.
Keep in mind
Hold the transmitter microphone button; a listener still needs to be near the matching receiver.

Megaphone

communication
Use
Push a voice farther when the group has spread out.
Common find
One is on yellow cubes near Yellow Tower; another is beyond Purple Tunnel.
Keep in mind
It changes reach; it does not remove every wall or distance rule.

Whiteboard

communication
Use
Leave a visual message or draw a shape for another player.
Common find
Three are near the Map Room and another sits behind the coordinate tracker below Green Tower.
Keep in mind
Useful only when the other player can see the board.

Cowbell

communication
Use
Make a simple sound signal when words are not useful.
Common find
Pick one up in the tutorial area.
Keep in mind
A sound cue cannot carry a detailed instruction.

Flare

visibility
Use
Create a bright visual marker so separated friends can regroup.
Common find
Flare buttons appear on the path out of the tutorial, by the Map Room, and on control-panel towers.
Keep in mind
It marks an area; it does not give a map coordinate.
Use
Reveal or illuminate a specific object in darkness with a focused beam.
Common find
Find one inside each control-panel tower.
Keep in mind
The beam lights only what it is aimed at; it is not broad area lighting.

Flare gun

visibility
Use
Fire a coloured smoke flare that lights and marks a large area.
Common find
Colour variants sit at the bases of the yellow, purple, and green ring buildings in later routes.
Keep in mind
After firing, it has a visible wait before it can fire again.

Laser pointer

visibility
Use
Point out a distant object or the group’s next target.
Common find
Find pointers on control-panel towers and three more inside the Map Room.
Keep in mind
The other player needs line of sight to the dot.

Binoculars

navigation
Use
Inspect distant landmarks before choosing a route.
Common find
Find a pair on top of each control-panel tower.
Keep in mind
They help identify a target but do not show the route to it.

Handheld map

navigation
Use
Carry a portable view of the world after reaching the Map Room.
Common find
Pick up the portable map from a table inside the Map Room.
Keep in mind
This guide does not claim that every point of interest is shown immediately.

Compass

navigation
Use
Keep a shared direction while the group follows the map.
Common find
Find it inside the Map Room beside the navigation tools.
Keep in mind
A heading still needs a landmark or route plan.

Backpack

carrying
Use
Carry one object on your back while keeping your hands available.
Common find
Choose one inside a giant blue basket-shaped bag building.
Keep in mind
A friend can still interact with the carried item.
Use
Carry two red control-panel pieces together on the route back to a tower.
Common find
Find the blue handled carrier beneath the weather balloon.
Keep in mind
It is specialized transport for control-panel rewards rather than general private storage.

Hip bag

carrying
Use
Carry an object at your side for a group route.
Common find
Choose one at the same blue bag buildings used for backpacks.
Keep in mind
It is storage for the walk, not a private inventory.
Use
Changes what the wearer can see during a cooperative challenge.
Common find
It rests outside the guided obstacle-course challenge near Blue Tower.
Keep in mind
A partner’s directions are part of using it safely.
Use
Unlock a major building, transport, or route after being shaped by five cutters.
Common find
A filled control panel releases its key from the back.
Keep in mind
Each tower key belongs to its linked destination and is initially too large for the final lock.
Use
Show the carrier’s current map coordinates for navigation and coordinate puzzles.
Common find
Find it in a red square structure below Green Tower near the chairlift station.
Keep in mind
A coordinate is useful only when the group can also read the map grid or share the same target.
Use
Play music from the radio stations the group has discovered and activated.
Common find
Find one by the first radio past the Crosswalk and the first music area.
Keep in mind
Only activated stations are available on its channel selection.

Item scanner

navigation
Use
Mark nearby usable or interactive objects with a yellow X.
Common find
One is by the tutorial-route flare point; more are inside control-panel towers.
Keep in mind
It identifies interactable items, not the complete route or solution for a puzzle.

Lantern

visibility
Use
Cast a broad amber light and leave a visible marker for the group.
Common find
Lanterns appear in the tutorial, beside points of interest, and around the island.
Keep in mind
A dropped lantern can be moved or confused with another marker; name the landmark too.
Use
Paint a friend to change their appearance.
Common find
Use it in the customization area.
Keep in mind
You customize one another rather than painting yourself.
Use
Fill a control panel so it releases the golden key on its back.
Common find
Complete cooperative island challenges to release these rewards.
Keep in mind
The opening beach panel needs its four fixed nearby rewards; later panels accept valid challenge rewards from the wider island.

Telescope

puzzle
Use
Inspect a distant target or symbol as part of its nearby challenge.
Common find
Find telescopes on raised platforms around the island.
Keep in mind
It is tied to the visible task at its platform rather than a portable full-map tool.

Timer

puzzle
Use
Carry, throw, place, or wait on the timer as the nearby challenge requires.
Common find
Timers appear inside the puzzles that use them.
Keep in mind
Its behavior is challenge-specific; do not assume every timer is a countdown to rush.
