The Red Tower heavy-ball challenge disables normal movement for whoever is holding the ball. The solution is a relay: stop, hand it forward, then move past the new holder to become the next receiver. The label used here is descriptive, not official.

Quick solution

  1. Find the dark purple-blue forest platform at approximately 3740, 1620.
  2. Take the heavy red ball from its starting spike.
  3. The holder stays still while a teammate moves ahead and faces them.
  4. Hand the ball to that teammate.
  5. The now-free player walks uphill and becomes the next receiver.
  6. Repeat until the ball reaches the goal device and fills its green display.

Find the forest relay

From Red Tower, cross the ravine toward the southeast and search among the trees for the coloured platform. A heavy red ball on a spike marks the start; the hoop challenge in the same forest uses lanterns and should not be confused with this route.

The current holder stops while the next receiver walks into handoff range.

Form a stable handoff chain

With two players, alternate the holder and receiver roles. With three or more, place the group at short intervals uphill before moving the ball. Every receiver should face the holder and stand on a flat patch where the object cannot roll into darkness.

Do not ask the ball carrier to walk. Their job is to keep the object controlled and make one clean transfer.

Relay the ball uphill

The free player advances, turns back, and takes the ball. As soon as the transfer is secure, the previous holder becomes free to move beyond them. Keep the route compact; long throws create more recovery work than short handoffs.

Confirm completion

The goal device shows a filled green progress state when the ball reaches the end, and the red control-panel reward becomes available.

The ball leaves the intended line The nearest free player retrieves it, stops on stable ground, and resumes the relay there.
A receiver is too far away Shorten every handoff; advance only after the new holder has control.
The group loses the uphill direction Use the coloured platform and visible goal device before moving the ball again.
Too many players reach for the object Name one next receiver and keep everyone else ahead as future stations.
