Big Walk Achievements & PS5 Trophies — All 12

A staged route through opening, bags, transport, tunnel, exploration, ending, and full-completion objectives with honest evidence gaps.

Table of contents

Big Walk has 12 Steam achievements. PlayStation 5 has the same 12 objectives plus a platinum, for 13 trophies. This page lists every description—including the two ending spoilers—and puts the confirmed objectives in a practical route.

Platform count and grades

Platform list Total Difference
Steam 12 achievements Ten visible descriptions and two hidden descriptions
PlayStation 5 13 trophies The same 12 objectives plus Big Trophy for unlocking every other trophy

On PS5, Big Pack and Big Help are silver. The other ten non-platinum trophies are gold. Do not treat the PS5 total as the Steam total, and do not add the platinum to a Steam checklist.

No equivalent system-level Nintendo Switch 2 list has been independently verified for this guide. Track the objectives shown on the platform where each player is actually playing.

The last column warns about story context, not difficulty. Where the published objective is broad, this guide does not invent a narrower trigger.

Pass 1 — opening and navigation

Complete the four fixed beach challenges, install their pieces, shape the key through five cutters, and lower the drawbridge. That covers Big Walk.

Next, use five later challenge rewards at Red Tower, shape its key, and open the Map Room. Enter the map area for Big View. Taking the portable map and compass now makes every remaining cleanup route easier.

Pass 2 — carry capacity

Visit a blue circular bag structure with at least one friend. A teammate must attach the bag to the highlighted body point.

  • Wear a backpack for Big Pack.
  • Wear a hip bag for Big Help.

The same player can wear both, but each platform account should perform the wear action if everyone wants their own unlock. Do not assume the host's trophy automatically grants it to the group.

Pass 3 — both transport systems

At Blue Tower, fill the panel, shape its key, and activate the main station. Board any moving red, yellow, or green train for Big Ride.

At Green Tower, repeat the panel-and-cutter loop and activate the chairlift. Board from a station platform for Big Sit. Count every player onto a chair; being present when another player opens the station is not the same as riding.

Pass 4 — tunnel threshold

At Yellow Tower, install five pieces, follow the five key cutters, and open the Yellow Tunnel around 3500, 1620. Cross the entrance for Big Tunnel.

This is a sensible point to pause and compare achievement lists. The route past the tunnel leads toward ending-sensitive progress.

Pass 5 — highest point, wall, and shiny colour

Big Climb

Start at the station used to activate the chairlift. Ride one station west to the stop at the island's highest point. Get off, face the small structure or sphere above the station, and climb all the way onto its top surface. Reaching the station platform alone is not the objective; finish the short climb above it.

Big Wall

Finish the opening key plus the Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow Tower keys first. That progression opens the Black Obelisk:

  1. Bring six unused red challenge rewards to the Black Obelisk.
  2. Take the black key it releases through the cutters indicated by its arrows.
  3. Travel to the bridge and wall gate at the far west of the island.
  4. Insert the shaped key, pass through the gate, and continue beyond the wall.

Do not use an out-of-bounds wall skip. It bypasses the intended progress state and can leave the group without the route needed for the ending.

Big Makeover

The surface paint station at 3570, 1190 is useful for ordinary recolouring, but Big Makeover needs a shiny salon colour:

  1. Open the tunnel network with the Yellow Tower key.
  2. Inside the tunnels, go toward the red/blue connection near the rave area.
  3. Cross the green bridge, then descend the unusual red stairs into the purple salon.
  4. Choose one of the three shiny colours on the bottom row.
  5. A teammate must apply that colour to the player who needs the unlock.

If it does not trigger, swap painter and target, reselect a bottom-row shiny swatch, and paint a clear body zone again.

Ending spoilers — Big Goodbye and Big Game

The hidden descriptions are:

  • Big Goodbye — Finish the game. Pass the far-west wall, walk to the giant black sphere, clear its cooperative rooms, follow the exit route to the red end structure, pass the final turnstile, and use the white exit.
  • Big Game — Completely finish the game. Return the final 15 challenge rewards to the green collection building near the tutorial and Map Room. Eight are additional red rewards left after the 30 used by the six key panels; seven are purple rewards from the challenge area behind the purple door at the far-east chairlift station. After the normal ending, the purple rewards appear on the map for cleanup.

Completing that 15-reward collection produces a white key. Carry it back to the tutorial area, where the small black sphere has split in half. Insert the key, descend the new stairs, and complete the theatre sequence for Big Game. This is a world-completion route, not simply “unlock the other 11 Steam achievements.”

Before ending a session

  1. Keep the same long-term host; world progress saves with the host.
  2. Compare the platform lists for every player before anyone disconnects.
  3. Re-board a transport or re-equip a bag for a player whose personal unlock is missing.
  4. Record how many of the final eight red and seven purple rewards have been returned to the green building.
  5. The normal ending returns to the title screen, but its cleanup state exposes the purple rewards on the map. Reload the host save before assuming anything has been missed permanently.
