Big Walk Coastal Crane Puzzle

A focused Green Tower synchronization guide without an invented timing window.

A laser from Green Tower points toward the distant coastal crane challenge
Identify the coastal crane and both separated stations before descending.
Table of contents

The coastal crane connects separated switch stations. Put a player at every active control, agree on one visible cue, and press within the same short window. The exact timing window is not published because available evidence does not establish a stable number. The page name is descriptive.

Quick solution

  1. Find the coastal crane at approximately 3790, 2250.
  2. Locate every active switch in the selected world.
  3. Put one player at each switch before starting.
  4. Choose one caller and one visible cue, such as raising a lantern.
  5. On the cue, press all active controls nearly together.
  6. Collect the red piece released by the crane.

Find both switch stations

The crane stands between two coastal sections southeast of the Blue Tower and far below the Green Tower route. Identify the tall crane first, then trace the separated stations before assigning players.

Match the selected world's active controls

The host's 2-, 3-, or 4+ world can show additional active stations. Walk the entire structure and count what is lit now. Extra players should act as callers or spotters only after each active control has an operator.

Choose a visible synchronization cue

Distance can make ordinary voice unreliable. Give the less visible station a lantern or another clear object. The signalling player raises it; the other operators press immediately, and the signaller presses their own control on the same cue.

Do not invent a second count or complex sequence. One ready state and one cue make a failed attempt easier to diagnose.

Confirm completion

The crane moves or drops the control-panel reward when the synchronized inputs register. Wait for that visible state before leaving a station.

Recover a mistimed attempt

Symptom Recovery
One switch changes but the crane does not complete Release all inputs, recount active stations, and return everyone to ready.
A remote player cannot see the cue Move the caller or use a brighter in-game visual signal.
Players keep pressing randomly Stop, name one caller, and make a single clean attempt.
A larger world shows another active control Staff it before retrying rather than forcing the 2-player setup.

Continue the Green Tower route

Carry the reward back to Green Tower. The complete Chairlift route covers the panel and key cutters. Continue to Invisible Symbols for the next focused challenge.
