Big Walk Green Scaffold Button Puzzle
A focused coordinated-button solution with selected-world setup, status feedback, clean retries, and central reward collection.

Table of contents
The Green Scaffold challenge is a short coordination test: place one player at each active control, agree on one countdown, and press within the same short window. Random button-spamming is less reliable than resetting and giving every player a clear signal.
Green Scaffold puzzle is a descriptive label used by this guide, not an
official in-game name.
Quick solution
- Find the green scaffold uphill from the Blue House, around 3650, 1220.
- Walk around the lower platform and count the controls active in your world.
- Assign exactly one player to each active control.
- Choose one caller and agree on a short countdown such as “three, two, one, press.”
- Everyone presses on the same final word.
- If the status does not complete, release the controls, reset positions, and repeat with a tighter signal.
- After the completion feedback, collect the red piece from the central grey holder.
Find the green scaffold
Continue east and slightly uphill from the Blue House. Look for the raised green platforms and controls on opposite sides of the lower structure. The approximate map-grid reading is 3650, 1220.
Before touching a control, circle the platform once. Players should be able to name their station and see or hear the caller; starting while someone is still climbing into place causes most failed attempts.
Match players to the active controls
Big Walk changes some button challenges for the selected 2-player, 3-player, or 4+ world. Use the controls and indicators visibly active in your session as the authoritative count.
| Selected world | Setup rule |
|---|---|
| 2-player | Put one player at each of the two active sides. |
| 3-player | Check for the additional active control and assign one player to every lit station. |
| 4+ | Staff every active control in the four-player puzzle scale; extra players should watch the status and relay the countdown. |
The two-player screenshot is useful for recognizing the opposite sides, but it is not proof that every world uses only two stations.
Use one countdown
Choose one caller. Every control player gets their hand ready without pressing, then acts on the same final word. The goal is near-simultaneous input; available sources do not support a precise number of seconds or frames, so the status panel—not a guessed timer—is the useful feedback.

If the first input lands early, call a full reset instead of asking the remaining players to chase it. Repeating a clean three-count is faster than trying to save an already desynchronized attempt.
Collect the fourth red piece
When the coordinated press registers, the puzzle gives its completion feedback and exposes the red Crosswalk piece on the central grey holder. One player can collect it while the rest of the group leaves their stations.
This is the fourth fixed reward in the opening route. If the other three are already at the beach control platform, the group can return immediately and release the oversized golden key.
If the scaffold does not complete
| What you see | What to change |
|---|---|
| One control changes but the full status does not complete | Release everything, confirm every active station has a player, and restart the countdown. |
| The group presses in a long sequence | Use one caller and one final word instead of passing the signal around the structure. |
| A player cannot hear the countdown | Move the caller where all stations remain in range or use one clearly agreed arm signal. |
| The two-player setup fails in a larger world | Circle the scaffold and staff every additional active control shown by that world. |
| Repeated random presses do nothing | Step away, let the controls reset, then attempt one coordinated press. |
| Completion feedback appears but the piece is missing | Check the central grey holder and the platform immediately around it. |
What to do next
Carry the piece back to the four-slot beach control platform near 3550, 1100. Once all four red pieces are installed, take the oversized golden key and follow the five cutters before using it at the Crosswalk lock.
The complete Crosswalk route contains the full cutter sequence. If your symbol reward is still missing, return to the Blue House puzzle first.
