Big Walk Playground Puzzle

A two-stage dot-and-symbol communication route for the sunken Playground rooms.

Table of contents

Quick answer: split between the Playground sections, arrange the kettles to communicate the required dot positions, let the other player enter, then reproduce that message with the wall symbols.

Find the sunken rooms

The puzzle is embedded in the ground. Look for the red below-ground rooms rather than an exterior tower. Confirm Playground Puzzle on the interactive map.

The sunken red rooms identify the Playground's kettle and wall-symbol stages; the image does not show a completed message.

Send the dot message

  1. Put players in the separate sections and inspect which side has the kettle controls and which side must read the result.
  2. Number the possible dot positions in one shared direction.
  3. Arrange the kettles so their placements communicate where the dots belong.
  4. Pause while the receiving player records the dot pattern.
  5. Change access as the room allows so the other player can enter the response side.
  6. Set the wall symbols to reproduce the communicated pattern.

The recorded reward is a Red Blob. Read the current dot layout instead of copying a fixed answer.

If the wall symbols are wrong

Return to the kettle message and compare one dot position at a time. Make sure both players numbered the layout from the same viewpoint and that access was swapped before the response stage. Follow any additional active positions visible in the selected world.
