Big Walk Head Count Puzzle

A focused Green Tower counting guide with no fixed answer code.

A laser from Green Tower points toward the green head-count arena
The ten-lamp counting arena lies directly south of the hidden-lamp circle.
Table of contents

The green arena briefly shows black head silhouettes across ten blue lamps. Split the lamps into non-overlapping groups, count locally, combine the subtotals once, and enter the current total. The answer changes; there is no fixed code. Head count is a descriptive guide label.

Quick solution

  1. Find the green arena at approximately 4100, 1880.
  2. Divide its ten blue lamps into named, non-overlapping groups.
  3. Assign one player to each group before activation.
  4. Count every black head silhouette shown in your own lamps.
  5. Call each subtotal once and add them together.
  6. Enter the combined number at the blue counter and collect the reward.

Find and divide the ten lamps

The arena lies directly south of the hidden-lamp circle. Coloured bands around the lamp tops help the group identify exactly which columns belong to each counter. With two players, five lamps each is the simplest split.

The green arena contains wall controls and multiple tall blue lamp columns
Assign every lamp before activation so none is missed or counted twice.
Tall blue lamps with coloured bands surround the head-count arena
Use the coloured bands to give each player's lamp group a stable boundary.

Activate from ready positions

Choose one activator. Everyone else moves to a viewing position before the button is pressed. The activator returns to their own group immediately rather than trying to watch all ten lamps from the counter.

Count locally and combine once

Each player counts only their assigned lamps. After the display ends, call subtotals in a fixed order and have one recorder add them. Do not shout a running global total during the display; overlapping corrections make the final number harder to trust.

Enter the current total

One player enters the combined number at the blue counter. A correct total releases the piece and produces the visible completion effect.

The combined total is entered on a blue counter while confetti fires outside
Enter the sum of the current run's subtotals; confetti confirms the accepted total.
